Lotus Care provides residential, respite and support services to children and young adults with intellectual disabilities in welcoming community settings throughout the Midlands of Ireland.

Current Opportunities:

Social Care Worker | Pracownik opieki społecznej

Social Care Assistant | Asystent opieki społecznej

Healthcare Assistant | Pracownik opieki zdrowotnej

Multiple locations across the Midlands of Ireland, including Athlone, Tullamore, Portlaoise, Portarlington, Mullingar, Kildare, Borris-in-Ossory, Clonaslee and Roscommon.

• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Working hours: Average of 42 hours per week, including day and waking night shifts
• Salary: €35,000–€55,000, depending on experience and role

What Will You Do?

You will support children and adults with intellectual disabilities to develop independence, achieve personal goals and enjoy fulfilling lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting daily living skills, personal care and wellbeing
• Promoting independence, choice and decision-making
• Following individual care plans and supporting personal goals
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
• Following relevant policies, procedures and care standards

What Do You Need?

• A relevant Level 5 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies or another relevant discipline, as required for the position
• A full, clean driving licence suitable for the role
• Good spoken and written English
• Previous experience in social care or healthcare is desirable
• Satisfactory Garda Vetting and/or police clearance
